About this event
Join us on the last Monday of the month for book discussions. All are welcome! In November we will discuss The Bad-Ass Librarians of Timbuktu by Joshua Hammer: Hammer writes with verve and expertise about how Abdel Kader Haidara, a mild-mannered archivist from the legendary city of Timbuktu, became one of the world’s greatest smugglers by saving thousands of ancient Islamic and secular manuscripts from sure destruction from Al Qaeda.
